As part of your new computer install process, a number of programs and features have been automatically installed. Programs like Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook. Outlook will need to be setup to get your email and connect to the SOGo Calendars. Instructions for doing so can be found on the Shared drive or you can ask Stephen for the instructions.
Once your printers are installed, you will need to clock on the Start Menu (Windows Icon at the bottom of the screen) and then start typing “Printers” with out the quotes. Click on the “Printers & Scanners”. You should see all the printers installed. Select the printer you want as default, it will open that printer and in the top right of that screen you will see a “Set as Default” button. Click on that and you can then close the window.
Other programs and printers will be installed depending on where your primary use location (Admin Office, Shop, ASD, Finance).
We have also installed Wireguard VPN that will allow you to connect to the Share when you are not at the Admin office or Shops. To use the VPN you will need to contact Stephen and have him create a configuration file that you will import in to the Wireguard app.
